COUGAR CROSS-COUNTRY TENTATIVE SCHEDULE 1. Marathon for Kids, kick-off celebration, Saturday October 10th. Leave from Kate-Bell, at 8:30am and return about 12:30 from University of Houston, Main Campus, Tellez Track and Field Stadium, (www.marathonkids.com) 2. Sugar Lands 23rd Annual Turkey Trot, Thanksgiving Day. November 26th, meet at 7:30, at Chevron Station, students participate in the Sean Sroggins Memorial Kids’ Mile, starts promptly at 8am. 13895 SW Freeway, Sugar Land, TX 77478 (www.signmeup.com). 3. Jingle Bell 26th Annual Fun Run and Walk. Sunday December 13th at the Downtown YMCA, 1600 Louisiana, and registration starts at 10:30am. (www.jinglebellrun.org) 4. Texas Children’s Hospital 13th Annual Kid’s Fun Run on January 16th at 8am to noon. At the George R. Brown Convention Center 1001 Avenida De Las Americas. Bus transportation will be provided to and from run, meet at Kate Bell at 7am, buses leave at 7:10am. (www.chevronhoustonmarathon.com) 5. 2009 Park to Park, Kids 1K Fun Run. Tentative February 6th, benefiting the Herman Park Conservancy, at the Molly Ann Smith Plaza in Herman Park, at 9:10am. (www.hermanpark.org) 6. St. Laurence School Children’s Get Fit Play Hard Fun Run. Sugar Land, TX 3103 Sweetwater Blvd. Tentative on February 21st . (www.StLaurenceparish.com) 7. Marathon for Kids final mile.
