COUGAR LIBRARY NEWS

Kate Bell has gone online with our Accelerated Reader Program. Students can now take AR tests online using link at the Student Den. Check it out at our next 1st Wednesday get together!

Applications deadline for guaranteed consideration will be January 9, 2009.

Parents’ notification will be March 27, 2009.

Yearbook Information

Yearbooks will soon be going on sale. They are $20.00 each. they contain each class picture set. Pictures of the events that go on at school throughout the year, club and activities and much much more. Look in your child's Wednesday folder to order yours.

We also offer a place for you to put your good wishes and messages to your student. They cost $2.00 a box. Thanks for supporting our Yearbook staff!

Nurse Corner

Health Problems: If your child has a specific health condition that can impact them at school or affect their education, please feel free to share this with the school nurse. The information is confidential.

Medication: If your child receives medication that needs to be given at school, you must get a medication consent form from the school nurse. Medication consent forms are required for asthma inhalers. Students are not permitted to bring or keep on their person over the counter medications (aspirin, Tylenol, cough meds, etc.) or throat lozengers.

Health Problems: If your child has an allergy problem with foods, insects or medication, please inform the school nurse as soon as possible.

Choir and Keyboard Information

Congratulations to the 2nd Grade students and teachers on a successful Winter program.

Volunteers In Public Schools (VIPS)

Parents who want to volunteers in the school or go on Field Trips need to have a background check. This can be done on the internet at VIPS Login. Bring a copy of your ID or Drivers Licenses to the school office for them to make a copy. You can also find a copy of the forms on the Kate Bell site by clicking here.
