Dear Parents,

All Houston Independent School District first through fifth grade students will be taking the Stanford test in the next week, May 7-11th. This test is one that all students across the country take to give insight into your child’s learning.

In order to provide the best testing opportunity for your child, please make sure your child will receive plenty of rest each night before and during the testing window, eats a well balanced breakfast each morning, and arrives on time to school in order not to feel rushed. Please remember all school breakfasts are free for your child. It is imperative that your child be in attendance during these important days.

Testing will begin at 8:15 so please arrive early.

We thank you for your time, dedication, and support toward your child’s learning. If you have any questions or concerns in regards to this test, please contact your child’s teacher.
