Answers
1."out of uniform"
HISD Code of Student Conduct indicates dress code violations are Level II infraction requiring parent conference. For the first offense, a student will be required to change into a uniform item kept by the school. If the school does not have the size or item needed, parent will be contacted to bring uniform to school.

2. "Casual Dress Day"
There will not be Casual Dress Day for elementary school students. Those students who are in uniform Monday-Thursday will be given the privilege of wearing blue jeans (shorts, pants or skirts) each Friday. The jeans must be worn with a uniform shirt.
