The first Bush Academic and Athletic Olympiad was a fantastic and memorable experience for all. The family picnic was a nice interlude to the day’s activities especially since it did not rain. Thank you, “Mother Nature,” for cooperating with us on the weather. Thank you to the teachers on the Bush Field Day Committee for all their hard work in planning this event. Thank you to the Bush PTO, especially Janna Wright, Kim Truman, Sandie Meyers, and Dina Lawal, for taking the committee’s ideas and putting them into action. Thank you to Kroger at Briar Forest and Eldridge for donating 1100 popsicles. Thank you to McDonald’s on Eldridge for donating the ice to keep the water cool. All Bush students, faculty, and staff are very appreciative of everyone’s help.
