| Internet Challenges were designed by Geri Ruane, computer lab teacher at Durkee Elementary School, HISD. "By integrating these challenges into your classroom curriculum, students will be able to improve and develop their expertise in reading, reading comprehension, writing, creative writing, and math. Basic computer skills will be honed together with electronic communication research skills and navigational skills. The students’ use of computer technology gives them an opportunity to access electronic searches, analyze and evaluate their electronic search results." |
