Our standards are high, and we strive constantly to raise them still higher.

Rufus Cage Elementary School was founded in 1903 as a two-room school house to serve children living in the rural area east of Houston.  Across the decades of growth and change one thing remains constant: our commitment to ensuring that every child achieves high academic standards and develops learning strategies essential for future success.
