The Buzz from Mr. B.

School is in full swing and the teachers and students appear to be headed for another great year.  I want to thank all of you again for entrusting your child’s education to us.  We will do our very best to honor that trust.

The three Open Houses were very well attended.  I hope you had all of your questions answered, but if not, please feel free to email the teachers or come by and see me.  I would also encourage you to join the PTO and get involved in the various programs they support.  PTO is a huge reason for all of Condit’s successes.  On the same note, I would like to encourage everyone to give to the “Reach for the Stars” fund drive.  The money raised supports all of the programs that the PTO sponsors for our students.

Mark your calendar!  We have three early dismissal days scheduled for the first semester.  Students will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m. on September 30, October 30 and December 18.    Teachers will be attending training during those afternoons.  Being that October 30 is the day before Halloween, we will have to have our parade in the morning.

I want to welcome all of our new staff members: Ms Pompa (1^st Grade), Ms. Bergauff (4^th
Math/Science), Ms. Higie (Autistic Center), and Ms. Janecek (Literacy Coach). We are excited to have them in our Condit family.

As we begin our new year, I want to remind parents how important it is to have your children to school on time.  Students have a better start to their morning when they are in their seats when the bell rings.  In addition, we are going to be running tardy challenges for each class throughout the year.  When they are tardy, please have them go to the office for a tardy slip.  K-2 students should be brought into the office by an adult.

It is going to be another exemplary year!
