Katherine Welbeck:
Hi, my name is
Katherine Welbeck, and I am a fourth grade teacher at Felix Cook,
Jr. Elementary School. I graduated from Princeton University with a
degree in Sociology and African American Studies. This is my first
year teaching, and I am so excited to be teaching here! I know that
I am here today because of so many wonderful teachers that I have
had in the past. I've always loved the Dr. Seuss book "Oh the
Places You Will Go" because it speaks so well to the ways in which
education leads to success.
Whitney Hill
is a Fourth Grade Teacher at Felix Cook
Elementary School. I am a proud graduate of Ohio University. This is
my first year in Stallion Land and I anticipate a year of many great
accomplishments from my students. I believe that every child
deserves a first rate education and I will not settle until that
need is met for everyone.

Williams fourth grade teacher at Felix Cook, Jr. Elementary. I
completed my undergraduate studies at The University of
Houston-Downtown, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal
Justice with a minor in Psychology. I received my teaching
certification from A+ Texas Teachers. I believe that the role of a
teacher is to find the strengths in every child and allow it to
resonate throughout all classroom activities and learning
experiences.
Juanita Gonzalez: My name is
Juanita Dorena Gonzalez and I was born and raised in Houston,
Texas. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Business
Management from Barry Catholic University in Miami, Florida. I
gained experience in working with children while in college as a
tutor. After graduation, I discovered that working with children
became my passion! So it was then that I decided to enroll in the
Region 4 Alternative Certification Program. I enjoy teaching very
much because the future starts today and it is today that we must
prepare the people of tomorrow. I enjoy acting, traveling,
conducting research on certain topics of interest, listening to
music and volunteering in church activities.
Jocelyn Gregory: I am

fourth year of teaching. I believe every
child should be given the opportunity to learn. My teaching motto is
“Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh,
the thinks you can think up if only you try!”
