 Flora Henry-Smith
Flora Henry-Smith: My name is Flora Henry-Smith and it is a pleasure to teach in a public school setting.  I am a graduate of the University of Houston-Downtown. I am married with three daughters and I enjoy all facets of art. I have been teaching for 3 years in the Houston Independent School District and 9 years as a Head Start Teacher.  My classroom environment is one that is nurturing, yet firm and educational with a lot of fun tossed in! I want to be THAT teacher that will spark wonder and excitement in learning in the lives of children.  

Mary Ann Thomas: Hello my name is Mary Ann Thomas and I have been a bilingual prekindergarten teacher for 8 years.  I graduated from Texas A&M- Corpus Christi and went through Houston ISD Alternative Certification Program.  I have a passion for teaching young minds and I do believe that everyone can learn.  In my classroom students learn through hands on activities that will help lay a strong foundation for their future success.

Gary F. Matthews: Hello, my name is Gary F. Matthews.  I am originally from Trinidad.  This is my 8^th year teaching and my 3^rd year as a Pre-kindergarten teacher.  I aspire to create an atmosphere for my students where they can experience structure, creativity, enthusiasm, fun and independence. My goal is to see children learn, succeed and grow with character and values to be the best they can be.
