Minnie Malone:
I am a native Houstonian who have always
had a passion and thirst for knowledge. I graduated Magna Cum Laude
from the University of Houston with a degree in Elementary
Education. I am currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Counseling
from Prairie View A&M University. I have been teaching for seven
years and I am delighted to once again inspire young minds. I
believe that education is the ultimate key to success and that every
child has a purpose and a future in life.
Angela Gatlin:
I am from Lake Charles,
Louisiana and I graduated from Tulane University with a Degree in
Psychology. I earned a Masters Degree in Counseling and
Administration from Prairie View A & M University. I have been
teaching for four years.
My goal in educating
students is to teach them not what to think, but how to think and
always strive for excellence.
Dorothy
Ledet: My name is Dorothy Ledet and I have been educating
children for thirty four years. My educational career began in
Louisiana, where I taught Kindergarten for twenty-one years. I have
been working for the Houston Independent School District for ten
years. I am the proud mother of two children and the grandmother of
seven. I enjoy reading, shopping and visiting my family.
Elena Covarrubias: I am Elena
Covarrubias. I attended DeVry University and continue to learn each
day how better to work with each child. I have the privilege of
being the second grade bilingual teacher this year and look forward
to seeing each child grow and have successful year of learning
Tameka Henry:
I am a proud Houstonian and Graduate of Texas Southern University.
I have seven years of teaching experience
with Houston I.S.D. ‘’ EDUCATING CHILDREN” is my passion and
teaching Second Grade is awesome and exciting! My teaching goal is
to ensure students climb the ladder
of educational success. |
