Raven Lightsey
My name is
Raven Lightsey. I am a graduate of Indiana University where I earned
my Bachelor’s Degree in Business. This year I am proud to spend my
third year teaching as a part of the third grade team at Cook
Elementary School. I am looking forward to an excellent school year
filled with fun and learning!
Rafael T. Lewis
Hello, I am Rafael T. Lewis, 3rd grade teacher at Felix Cook, Jr.
Elementary School. I graduated from Jarvis Christian College in
Hawkins, Texas. I am originally from East St. Louis, Illinois, but
I have been in Houston since 1997. I am a strong believer that all
students can learn and it takes the home, school and community to
educate our children. Together we will make this a successful
school year for our students.
Patrice M. Brown
My name is
Mrs. Patrice M. Brown. I am a native of Houston , and a proud
graduate of Texas Southern University. This is my fourth year here
at the Felix Cook Elementary School. I ‘m currently a third grade
teacher and third grade team leader. My belief is that all
children can learn if they are given the opportunities to explore,
and expand their abilities. Here’s to my best year in teaching
ever!
Paola Pflücker
I am Paola Pflücker and I am originally from Peru. I am a graduate
from Texas & AM University with a degree in Marketing. I received my
teaching certificate through the Alternative Certification Program
of HISD. I’ve always enjoyed working with children. I believe that
every child has an endless potential to develop and I love being
part of that process. I am very excited to start my ninth year
teaching. I love travelling, watching movies and photography.
Jaffar Milledge
My name is Mr.
Jaffar Milledge and this is my third year at Cook Elementary. My
educational background includes a Bachelors Degree from Jarvis
Christian College. I also have elementary certification from
Letourneau University, and am currently pursuing a Masters Degree
from Lamar University. I’m elated to have the opportunity to help
develop great young minds. “Academic Success” is the fuel to my
commitment as an educator. My educational belief is, “All children
can learn, do learn and will learn!”
