We are so proud of these students representing Cornelius!  They have done a terrific job this year.  Mr. Chris Majors, Coach, has done an outstanding job working with these kids.  A big thank you goes to him!  Helping him this year were Mrs. Elizabeth Benavidez and Mrs. Melissa Ramos.  They have all put in tremendous energy and effort to keep our chess team moving and entering all the tournaments.  Arrangements must be made, fees must be paid, and transportation must be worked out for each competition.  It takes a lot of work!  We deeply appreciate the efforts of these fine people and what they have made possible for our children!
