Hello Friends and Visitors and welcome to our website!

I am Karen Jackson, principal at Cornelius Elementary School.  I have been at Cornelius since February 2001, and I look forward to serving in a new capacity.  

It is always exciting to set new goals and standards for our students and ourselves to achieve.  We are determined to maintain the high academic standards that have been prevalent at Cornelius for over a decade.  The superior staff is responsible for this tradition of excellence.  

I greatly appreciate the dedication and teamwork that each staff member shares with others to keep us focused on our goals.  Additionally, the support we receive from our parents is of great value.  

I am so excited to be principal at such a wonderful school like Cornelius and look forward to the challenges and rewards that lie ahead!
