A Message from the Principal:
Education at Crespo Fine Arts Magnet School is designed to meet the needs of each student. We believe that each child is endowed with his or her own individual capacities and characteristics, and that our school, provides each child with the kind of education best fitted to him or her as an individual. In addition, we believe that Crespo exists to serve all the children. Therefore, as educators we make every effort to meet the needs of all students in granting them the fullest possible educational opportunities.
Everyday Crespo's teachers provide a strong academic program for all students through sound classroom instruction and challenging student projects. Teachers focus on building students' self-esteem, setting high academic standards, treating children fairly, varying teaching methods and encouraging parent participation.
As a parent, you play a key role in the educational process of your children. Your words of encouragement, a hug when the day has been rough, your interest in your children's work and presence at school is vital.
Parents count! Come to school, meet us, join the PTA and volunteer your time and energy. Your involvement will show your children that you value their education. Together everyone achieves more (TEAM)!
