A
five–year grant from Harris County Department of Education for the
After School Enrichment program, an elementary school teacher gifted
with a passion for promoting visual art, a principal who is an
enthusiastic advocate of Fine Arts Programs, talented student artists
and spontaneous support from the community, have all contributed
towards the enormous success of Crockett’s Visual Arts program ever
since its inception in 2003. Their contributions have culminated in
the making and opening of the Children’s Art Gallery at Crockett,
which was formally opened on January 31, 2008 |
