On March 3, 2006 and March 10, 2006 two open meetings occurred to discuss details and requirements for all members participating in this grant, people in attendance are listed below. At that time, it was decided who would participate in the grant and the requirements all people involved would have to fulfill. It was also decided that personnel directly involved academically with students would be rewarded with stipends; in addition it was decided teachers could be rewarded in up to four areas: improved student performance, collaboration with others, provided tutorials to students and maintain at least a “proficient” in all indicators of the PDAS. All decisions were based on TEA guidelines. On Feb. 10 and March 24 the entire staff including the SDMC met to discuss the grant. |

Campus Committee Creating and Managing Grant Activities |

Grant activities will be managed at the campus level by the principal. The current principal, N. Mercado, who has 24 years of experience. Personnel will not be funded with this grant, all monitoring will be done by the principal and the committee. |

Supplement-Not-Supplant |

This grant will not supplant the Houston Independent School District Incentive plan. This will be an additional incentive, which Cunningham employees will be able to receive if requirements are fulfilled. |

Program Continuation |

|
The continuation of the program is dependent upon successful student achievement which will ensure that the school maintains required academic rating. |
