Ongoing Monitoring/Continuous Improvement |

The principal, in collaboration with the planning team, will provide overall monitoring, oversight and management of the program’s ongoing monitoring of improvement activities. The principal will work closely with the planning team to ensure adherence to the program goals and objectives, timeline and budget, including the Program Criteria Overview Chart and the Incentive Award Distribution chart. Monitoring will occur using quantitative data: · Attendance to Grade Level Meetings · Grade Level Minutes · Curriculum Alignment · Snapshot Test · Pre/Post Test · Checklist · Lesson Plans · Faculty/Staff Development Sign-In Sheets And qualitative data: · Classroom Observations · Interviews The principal and the planning team will develop the formative evaluation plan for this grant, specifying how the data will be collected, analyzed, used to guide the work, and reported to TEA and HISD. The plan will dictate monthly meetings for the purpose of establishing the status of data collection and evaluation as well as assessing how well the project is meeting the stated goals and objectives. Reports on these monthly meetings will be discussed by the planning committee describing progress, strengths and weaknesses that have been detected, and any recommendations for modifying or improving the program as a result of the on-going evaluation activities. All required reports, including the First Interim Report and the Final Evaluation Report will be submitted to TEA within 30 days after the end of the grant period, will be submitted in a complete and timely manner according to the specifications of TEA.
