Just as seedlings need sun, fertile soil and water
to blossom, children need a positive, caring and creative atmosphere in which to
learn and grow. We encourage positive self-esteem and confidence for our
boys and girls by building on each child's strengths and interests. We
help children to see how and what they learn in school relates to everyday
experiences.
We invite parents to become involved in school
life. We believe in the importance of maintaining close communication
between families and school staff.
We realize the importance of developing an attitude
of self-respect and self-worth. At Elrod we try to form meaningful and
responsible relationships.
Parents, we feel we are partners in the important
job of educating the children of this community.
