The Emerson “Eagle” Choir meets every Monday and Tuesday 3:15 – 4:15 for the entire school year. The singers are in grades 3-5. They will perform at school and community events. We currently have 31 performers.
Eagle Book Club
The Eagle Book Club is open to all students who enjoy reading. Some of the events planned for the club include the following:
- Name That Book competition
- UIL competition
- Field trips
- Fundraising
Your family can support the book club at home too! READ! READ! READ! Take a minute to read with your child everyday. It will make a world of difference.
YLC is a club for fourth and fifth grade students who are interested in:
- Getting along with and learning about others
- Doing special service projects that help others
- Developing leadership skills
- Volunteering every week with Safety Patrol
Students interested in joining YLC apply and participate in an interview process with Ms. Dabney.
Young Leaders may help with: the homeless and needy, Safety Patrol, the elderly, animals, the environment, other kids, and serving as Ambassadors to visitors on campus and new students.
The Girl Scouts at Emerson are here to help girls in kindergarten through 5th grade to join Daisy, Brownie and Junior Girls Scouts. Registration in Girl Scouts only cost $10 per year.
