Welcome, Grimes’ Proud Parents and Students
It is our pleasure to WELCOME you and your family to Buchanan H.
Grimes Elementary School. We are
looking forward to providing many exciting and rewarding learning
experiences for you throughout the school year.
Our handbook outlines behaviors expected of students and provides other
valuable information. It has been carefully prepared and presented in order
that you and you may know and understand the policies and practices
of Buchanan H.
Grimes Elementary School.
In addition to the handbook, parents and students are urged
to become familiar with the provisions of the district wide HISD Code of
Student Conduct and to seek help from school personnel when having school or
personal problems.
Finally, we welcome any feedback from you that will help us make your
child's learning experience productive and enjoyable.
