Curriculum Focus

Our curriculum is brain-based and science-driven.  Each month we explore on a different theme or unit.  We encourage you to bring this focus into your home as well to support what your child is learning at school. 

November:  Corn, Pilgrims, Native Americans, Thanksgiving

In science class, we learn about seeds .	So many colorful turkeys !	Mrs. Perkins' class gourd collection.	A Thanksgiving sampler of work!

 

October: Pumpkins, Apples, Our Skeleton, Autumn

All about pumpkins and apples.	Pre-K apples on an apple tree.	A hands-on skeleton!.	Geometric pumpkins growing on a vine!

 

August/September:  Rules, Safety, All About Me

Bono the Monkey taught us about rules.	Check out our banana tree!	We are all so different and special .	We used cereal to make stoplights!
