All volunteers must complete HISD's background clearance process.  Please bring your
state-issued identification to Halpin and complete a brief registration form.  The approval process can take up to 2 weeks.  We encourage all parents to register as soon as possible.

Field Trips
All parents who wish to chaperone field trips MUST be cleared by HISD.  Please bring your state-issued ID to Halpin to start this process.  You may print a copy of the application at our Downloadable Forms page.  A background check will be conducted, and this can take up to 2 weeks.  If you think you may be interested in chaperoning at all during this school year, please come in to register as soon as possible.
