Parent Connection
We truly value our parents' involvement with their children's education. We are happy to provide multiple ways for you to get involved with your child's learning and with our Halpin family.
Join Our "Halpin E-Connection" Mailing List A great way to make sure that you know what's happening at Halpin is by signing up for our e-mail communications. Click here to generate an email, and your name will be added to our distribution list. Anytime we send out a school-wide notification, you will receive an email as well.
Volunteer at Halpin We regularly offer opportunities for you to make a difference by donating your time and talents at various events, chaperoning field trips, and by assisting teachers. Please visit our Volunteer Opportunities page for details.
Connect Classroom Learning at Home By knowing what your child is learning about in school, you can reinforce that learning at home with discussions, games, and projects. Visit our Curriculum Focus page to see what we're learning about now and for daily activities related to our units.
Join Halpin's PTO We have an enthusiastic and dedicated Parent-Teacher Organization, and we would love to have even more parents get involved! Our PTO sponsors school-wide events such as Fall Carnival and Messy Day, organizes fundraisers, and supports teachers and students with materials and events that enhance learning. Please visit our PTO/PAC page to get involved.
Make Education Fun for You and Your Child If you have access to a computer, we have provided Links some of our favorite early childhood websites. Enjoy math and reading activities, games, and more. We've also included links to some of the great family activities that our local community has to offer. Please know that the computers in our EvenStart parent center are available to you anytime during our school day. Contact someone in our EvenStart program by email or at 713-778-6720 for more information.
