It is a Federal Funded Program that serves as a source for ensuring a supplemental educational program to meet the needs of children attending our school. Nat Q. Henderson is classified as a Schoolwide Title I School because 97.6% of our student population participate in the National School Breakfast/lLunch (Free/Reduced) Program. Therefore, we are schoolwide and our funds impact all students enrolled on campus.

The contact person, Brenda Thomas-Milburn, and two teacher assistants give instructional services to our students. The students also receive clothing vouchers, field trips, materials and supplies, Extended Day and Summer School instruction throughout the year.

The Title I Team works closely with the parents. We have the Parent Advisory Council, better known as PAC. Mrs. Thomas-Milburn works with the parents to help them assist their children as much as possible to excel in school.
