Steps for making a Graph using Excel:
1. Open Excel
2. Click in the place where you want to put title for column (1A, 1B, etc)
3. Type in the title for the column and then enter.
4. Do this for each column needed.
5. Fill in the information for each column. You can use the TAB key to move from column to column or use your mouse to choose.
6. From time to time you should save your work. The first time go to SAVE AS and name you project. Make sure you pay attention to where you are saving the file. After that you can just SAVE or click the floppy disk icon.
7. After all of the items are entered, highlight them. I like to go from the bottom right to the top left so that I do not highlight more than I intended.
8. Click on the CHART icon or go to INSERT CHART.
9. Follow the Chart Wizard to create the type of graph that you want to make. Choose the type of chart you want to create. Follow the steps. Be sure to type in a title and labels.
10. On the last step, you can place the chart on the spreadsheet or on a separate page in your file. For making a chart that you will print for a project, place the chart on a new sheet.
11. When you have the graph completed as you want it, you can print it. Make sure that you have the page setup as a landscape so that the graph will fit on the page.
