Program Overview

The G/T Program at Longfellow Elementary currently offers self-contained SIGHTS (Supplemental Instruction for Gifted and High Achieving and/or Talented Students) classes in grades 1-4 and a simple exchange program in 5th grade.   Identified Kindergarteners are served beginning March 1.

Curriculum and Instruction

Longfellow Elementary offers a challenging academic program that both accelerates and enriches the core curriculum.  Students have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities such as Odyssey of the Mind and WordMasters.
