Students in General Music participate in singing, fundamentals of music theory, and the playing of classroom instruments.  Each student is given the opportunity to perform in a musical program presented for the PTA and the student body.

The Longfellow Concert Choir is an auditioned group of third, fourth and fifth graders who sing regularly at various community events in Houston.   The choir often participates in activities around the State of Texas.
