La Fiesta
Auto Sales |
| Mr.
and Mrs. Charles Tubbs and La Fiesta Auto Sales have been
business partners of Love Elem. for several years now. Over the
years, they have contributed to the success of Love students in a
variety of ways. Some of the events sponsored by the Tubbs and La
Fiesta Auto Sales are listed below. |
| Annual
Spelling Bee Contest |
Each
year the Tubbs provide the Spelling Bee study booklets and
incentives for all participants. They also provide the awards and
prizes for winning contestants. This year, our Spelling Bee will
be held on January 17, 2002.

| School
Supplies |
Each
year school supplies are donated to be distributed to the students
in need at Love Elem.
|
School
Uniforms
|
Each
student on our campus received a free school uniform this year
thanks to the generous donation of uniforms made by the Tubbs.
|
| Lunch
Money |
The
Tubbs provide lunch money in the main office for students who have
forgotten, misplaced, or do not have money to buy lunch during the
school day.
|
| Food
Bank at the Wesley Community Center |
The
Tubbs graciously provide funding for the Wesley Community Center
Food Bank. Thanks to the Tubbs' generous contribution, the
families of Love Elem. students are eligible to receive family
assistance at the Food Bank.

| We
would like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Tubbs and La Fiesta Auto Sales
for sponsoring our new mascot. In September 2001, our
students voted the lion as our new mascot. The Tubbs provide a
beautiful marquee of our new mascot (pictured above), which is
displayed in the school's foyer. The unveiling of our marquee took
place on October 12. 2001. All of our students and staff received
a uniform Polo shirt from Mr. and Mrs. Tubbs, which proudly
displays our new mascot. Several Love Lions also participated in a
La Fiesta commercial. |
