About Lovett's Parent Teacher Organization  (P.T.O.)
All parents are encouraged to become active members of the P.T.O. The yearly membership drive begins in August.   Through participation in PTO projects, funds are provided for school enrichment programs.  Of greater value and satisfaction are the friendships fostered through PTO participation in school endeavors.  It means a great deal for your children to see their parents support their school and its activities in a positive manner, so join us, please. The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a vital part of Lovett Elementary School Community.

Fall Carnival is held each October at Lovett Elementary (S. Rice and Jason). Cotton candy, Frito pie, nachos, hot dogs, and popcorn are some of the snacks that are available as the students walk from room to room doing activities. There is face painting, bowling, crafts, basketball, putting, ring toss, a moon walk, a train ride, and much more! The community is invited, so come join the fun and win some prizes and candy at the Lovett Fall Carnival.

Book Fairs Lovett P.T.O. sponsors two book fairs each year.  All of the proceeds go directly to the library.  In the fall and the spring a Scholastic Books Book Fair is held during lunch in the cafeteria and coincide with the Thanksgiving dinners and Pizza Night that many parents and grandparents attend. This provides a wonderful opportunity for parents to shop for their favorite books with their children.
