| Neff is a great place to learn. Neff's faculty is
innovative, child-centered, and committed to excellence.
The staff stay current on teaching methods and
constantly strive to meet the needs of their
students. Through Neff's wealth of special
programs, our teachers meet children's unique individual
needs and nurture their talents. In addition to
regular instruction, many of our teachers sponsor special
after-school clubs, such as choir and chimes, dance
clubs, art and special projects, and sports such as
soccer. Clubs and activities play a big role in
stimulating creativity and self-reliance. Neff's personnel is always very supportive of the teachers and the needs of the students. Everyone at Neff is committed to the philosophy of "School is a place for learning." With a student membership as culturally diverse as Neff, students have learned to respect the wide variety of international beliefs and traditions of their fellow students. Our parents, too, promote an atmosphere of cooperation and harmony by their involvement in the daily school life of their children. Our business partners are committed to aiding in the education of our students, making donations of money, incentive merchandise, and personal time in the classroom with the students. Our community volunteers consist of retirees and neighborhood friends, as well as parents of the students. They all work together to provide motivation, positive role model for our students, as well as being a helpful and involved force among our staff. Pat Neff Elementary is a whole lot more than just a place to study the "three R's." It is a great place to learn because of people--people who teach, people who care, people who are involved. Neff Elementary is proud of its teachers and staff, students and parents, and its business and community volunteers! |
