Neff has adopted school uniforms for our students. A number of schools in HISD have moved forward to a uniform dress. These schools report that the change has made a significant difference in the school climate. Discipline problems related to style and fashion are virtually eliminated. Uniforms replace the need for students to feel they have to wear all the latest fashions and stops the ridicule of those who do not. With uniforms, students can focus more on instruction and learning, decreasing student distractions, gang affiliation, and economic status division of students

Uniform Policy

Uniforms are to be worn daily. No white t-shirts.

Uniforms shirts should not have a logo other than the Neff logo.

Uniforms shirts are to be tucked in throughout the day.

Size appropriate garments required, baggy clothes are unacceptable.

SWEAT SUITS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

Basic Uniform

Navy blue pants, walking shorts, girls may also wear skirts or Jumpers

Solid white tops---collared shirts only
White polos shirts should have sleeves and a collar.
(ABSOLUTELY NO WHITE T-SHIRTS)

White socks ( no ankle socks)

Belts for looped pants (grades 1-5)

Elastic waist pants, no belts for Kindergarten

Closed-toe shoes (no sandals)

Optional Wear

White turtle necks for cooler weather

Leggings or tights, blue or white for girls

Navy/White button front sweaters
