Third Grade Poetry Reading Third Graders at Northline have completed their Poetry Planner. The end product and summative assessment was for the students to collect about 8 of their own poems into an individualized Poetry book. These books were sent to be published and returned beautifully. This Friday, February 1st, 2008 the Third grade held a Poetry Read in the cafeteria. It was set up as a gallery and members of the school and local community were invited to walk around and listen to students read some of their poetry aloud and look at their books. The students practiced reading with emotion and fluency and those listening really seemed to enjoy their performance. Please enjoy these pictures from our Poetry Read. Field Trip To
