Oak Forest Elementary Students Qualify for All-City Band

  Oak Forest is a TEA Exemplary School!
Ten Oak Forest Elementary students recently qualified for All-City Band.  Students had to audition for this honor by performing a difficult musical piece in front of a judge.  The students who qualified are:Sarah Thompson, Madeleine Reid, and Juliana Beltran on clarinet, Mitchell Bonte, John Carl Boudreaux, Evan Escalante, Xavier Ledesma, Max Ward, and Maximiliano Wissinger on trumpet, and Nicholas Eads on French Horn.  These students will perform at the All-City Band Concert later this school year.

Pre-Kindergarten Sign Up for School Year 2010-2011

Space is very limited for the PreKindergarten programs at Oak Forest Elementary School
On Monday, March 29, 2010, please arrive at 7:15AM for a one time Sign-Up session - a first come, first served basis for incoming Pre-Kindergarten students.  You will be asked to complete an information sheet and a temporary Pre-Application to determine eligibility for the upcoming school year.  We will contact you by telephone with the status of your child’s eligibility for the program.
