The After School Program at Oak Forest Elementary offers a variety of flexible care options:
Hours: 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Full-time Extended Day
Occasional Extended Day Hours: 3:00pm - 4:45pm
Half-time Extended Day Hours: 12:30pm - 6:00pm
Early Dismissal Extended Day (on early dismissal days only)
In addition to Extended Day, the After School Program offers a wide variety of enrichment classes. Tuition and fees vary, depending on the type of class. Classes are generally grouped by age and/or skill level and limited to a certain number of students. Teachers who offer these classes are Oak Forest Elementary faculty or professionals in the related field. Click here to view the descriptions of the enrichment classes being offered this semester.
Homework Workshop is offered to students enrolled in Full-time Extended Day OR Half-time Extended Day at no additional cost. Homework Workshop may also be purchased as an enrichment class for students not enrolled in Extended Day.
A 10% discount is given on the tuition for Full-time Extended Day OR Half-time Extended Day when two or more children from the same family are enrolled. There is no discount on Occasional Day care units, Early Dismissal or Enrichment Classes.

Classes are filled on a first come first served basis. This is based by the post-mark date of your mailing or based on the date your registration packet is dropped off at Oak Forest. Please notify Sylvia Ponce de Leon if you have any questions regarding your child's schedule via e-mail: ciasp@sbcglobal.net.
Important Dates:
Monday, May 19, 2008: Registration begins for the Fall 2008 semester.
Friday, June 20, 2008: Last day to register without a late registration fee.
Saturday, June 21, 2008: A late registration fee of $25 is added beginning on this date. If your child is registered on or after this date, then your child will not be able to start in the program until September 2, 2008.
Monday, August 25, 2008: After School Program begins for the Fall 2008 semester. Enrichment classes begin. Add/Drop period begins.
Friday, September 12, 2008: Registration ends. Add/Drop period ends.
Payment Due Dates:
Date of registration: 1/4 of your total is due.
Friday, September 5, 2008: 1/2 of your total is due.
Friday, October 3, 2008: 3/4 of your total is due.
Friday, November 7, 2008: Your total is due.
The After School Program only accepts payments in the form of checks and in the form of money orders. The program does not accept cash and does not accept credit cards. Payments should be made payable to: Oak Forest Elementary - ASP. Please include your child's name on your check or money order.
