Parker Wins
a GRAMMY!

Parker Elementary School in the Houston Independent School District has been selected by the GRAMMY® Foundation as the National GRAMMY® Signature Elementary School, winning the top prize of $2,500. This recognition was presented by the GRAMMY® Foundation and was sponsored by Folger's Coffee. This award is a national competition recognizing commitment to music education. There were 6,600 schools registered to compete for this prestigious award. Schools that applied were judged on the integration and quality of music across the curriculum and the participation of the entire student body in music.
