Parker PTO Starts off a Great New Year!

It was a full house at the first PTO meeting of the school year on Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, in the Mini-Gym.  New and returning parents (and a few siblings, too) were in attendance to learn about the great things happening at Parker!  Highlights included discussions of Parker's upcoming 50th anniversary, FunFest on Saturday, Oct. 25, and the grant received by Parker that will go toward stage improvements.  Those in attendance also approved payment for painting the school bathrooms and work to be done in the school cafeteria and mini-gym to clean and improve those areas. 

The next PTO General Meeting is on Thursday, October 16, at 7:00 pm at the school.  The meeting will last under an hour and children are welcome to watch videos and play in a supervised area at the school.
