Performing Strings performed for the Women's Association at St. John's Presbyterian Church October 19, 2004.. 
One woman commented "That performance makes me glad that I pay taxes." 
The students were warmly received after they played a dynamic concert of jazz, fiddlin', and classical music. 
Mrs. Pack encouraged all the ladies to tell their neighbors and grandchildren about Parker E 2lementary. 
She noted that Magnet Awareness Week will be Nov. 1 - 5 and
the public is welcomed to come for tours every day at 9:00 a.m.
