of “Note” Teach
Parker Piano Students
Many of Houston's best piano instructors are in one place
this week as they take music instruction
up an octave for the piano students at Parker Elementary
School.
Parker's piano teacher Steven Haff says, “By
bringing the best local piano instructors to Parker
for this week-long event we hope to renew the excitement
in our students.”
Haff has expanded the school's commitment to
providing a more thorough level of instruction to
its students.
In previous workshops, each student worked with one
instructor.
This year each student will have two small
group sessions with different instructors and one larger
class,
which turns music theory and notation principles into a
fun educational game. The piano workshop is an annual
event.
