Leeona Leroy Pugh Elementary

Instructions in the science program are taught by the classroom teachers. The facilities at Pugh include a well equipped science laboratories, outdoor instructional areas, a computerized weather station, and many opportunities for students to conduct experiments. Field trips and community resource speakers are included throughout the year to provide a variety of experiences which further develop the science concepts and to relate science to our community and the student's future. Students are encouraged to participate in the school's annual Science Fair.
