The Vanguard Neighborhood K-12 program provides a learning continuum that is differentiated in depth, complexity, and pacing. Our program is designed for G/T students who excel in general intellectual ability in combination with creative/productive thinking and/or leadership ability.
If you think your child possesses any of these qualities please ask his/ her teacher for a Vanguard Neighborhood application or call Judy Douglass, 713-726-3638 to answer any further questions. Testing will take place in May with results being returned during the summer. Applications need to be turned into the office not later than April 18th. Your child will receive a letter stating his qualification status and will be placed in the appropriate class for the fall semester.
