Student Council is a citizenship and service organization for
fifth grade students. Our responsibilities are very important
to us, and we try our best through our responsibilities to support
our school. We are role models and the "face" of Red when we have visitors on campus. We help make ice packs for our school nurse and co-sponsor, Ms. Morice. We collect recycling bottles, paper, cans, etc. every Friday. Plus we help supervise some of our school activities, such as Texas Bluebonnet voting where we hand out bookmarks and pencils to each voter! We have meetings in the library, and basically our coach for all this is the librarian, Ms M. Smith. Coming up this year we have many more school activities we will be doing.
