Ms. Wilborne’s  Years!

                        CHORUS:
She loved to play outside on the swing and in the sand.
Her village made out of sand was her very own land.
She loved to play baseball with the neighborhood boys.
She loved to play outside learning with her toys.

She emerged one April 15 south of Dallas.
She did her chores, but she didn’t really mind.
She played hopscotch when homework was done.
She had no TV so she went to roller skate. (X2.)

She had a dog named Spot who loved to run around.
He was a dog that was white with black spots.
One of her sisters loved the cat named Matilda.
After a storm she found 2 ducks that were very noisy (X2.)

She visited her aunt once by train.
It was 200 miles away.
She lived up near Red River.
Her aunt taught her how to sew.

She had a friend named Keith
With a pet turtle on a string.
When the cars drove by they never saw the turtle.
Keith also had a dove that laid an egg that hatched.

Her favorite color was blue the color of the sky.
She lay down on a quilt at night just to watch the stars.
She saw many shooting stars flying past her at night.
She loved to roast marshmallows at night!
