Ryan Mission Statement
The mission of J. D. Ryan Elementary School is to educate students in a safe
and positive learning environment through an integrated partnership of school,
parents, and community so that our students will become productive members of
society.

Ryan
Elementary School is located in the beautiful city of
Houston, TX,
and it is part of the Houston Independent School District school system. It is
in the North part of the city approximately five miles from downtown Houston.
Ryan offers many programs for students. Ryan Elementary houses the multi-faceted
Communities in Schools program. We also offer a Gifted and Talented
Program. Ryan has special needs services to meet our exceptional ed.

Discipline Program. We are a Project Grad
School We are a TEA recognized School.
The

Ryan's Daily Schedule
Breakfast begins at 7:00 a.m. Breakfast is from 7:00-7:30
School hours are 7:45-3:15 Monday - Thursday and on Fridays the dismissal time
is 12:45 p.m.
Uniform Policy
School Uniform:
Navy, light blue, or white polo type shirt or blouse.
Navy, or khaki slacks, skirt, or jumper.
School uniforms MUST be worn Monday through Friday
Visitor's Policy
All visitors must check in at the main office to obtain campus approval
before entering classrooms. Teachers have designated conference periods.
