You can teach a student a lesson for
a day; but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will
continue the learning process as long as he lives.

Welcome, parents and 4th grade
students, to a new and exciting year!
Students, this will be the most challenging year
of your young educational lives. It is my goal to push you to your
limits, building on the foundation that your previous teachers have
laid. This continued “building” of knowledge will provide you with
the tools you will need to have a successful school year and become a
positive contributor to our society.
“Education is an ornament in
prosperity, and a refuge in adversity.”

“If we all did the things
we are capable of, we would astound ourselves.”

Welcome to Fourth Grade!
I believe that every
student is capable of learning. This year we’ll learn more about
fractions, multiplication, life cycles, literary genres, and Texas
history. Our big focus will be improving our writing. I can’t wait to
read some astonishing compositions!
