Les doy la bienvenida a todos mis estudiantes y padres de familia este año escolar 2009-2010. Espero que todos trabajemos juntos para el la educación y el bienestar de nuestros alumnos. Tengo 7 años de experiencia como maestro de Pre-Kinder y Kindergarten. Mi educación es biología y Pre-medicina. Tengo un certificado de maestro de la universidad de San Thomas. Mis expectativas para cada alumno son muy altas. Espero la cooperación de los padres y de estudiantes. Mis estudiantes aprenderán, cooperaran, y tendrán las experiencias que los empezaran en el primer año de sus vidas escolares.  Si necesita contactarme favor de mandarme un mensaje para planear una junta de padres. Estimados Padres de Familia,

Es un orgullo para mí tener a su niño/a en este año escolar 2009-2010. Todos los días llevaran su conducta, el cual Uds. deben hablar con su niño/a de lo muy importante que es seguir una buena disciplina, tanto en la casa como en la escuela.

Se que con la ayuda de Uds. en casa y lo que hacemos en la Escuela “Juan N. Seguín”, su niño/a aprenderá mucho y harán un buen año escolar, para estar listos y continuar con el Pre-K.

Les estaré muy agradecida por toda la ayuda que den en su hogar.

I am Mrs. Rice the Pre-Kindergarten teacher. You will find my classroom center based because young children learn best through play. At this age children are hands on learners and have short attention spans so we tend to keep things moving by changing centers frequently. I urge all parents to read to their child - it is the best gift to them. Children gain so much from having books read to them such as modeled language, environmental print and it increases your child’s vocabulary. I look forward to working with you and your child. As an ancient proverb was once said, “I see and I forget, I hear and I remember, I do and I understand.”

Bienvenidos estudiantes y padres de familia  a este nuevo año escolar 2009-2010.

Mi nombre es Sra. Antu y estoy muy contenta de tener la oportunidad de trabajar con sus niños. En el salón de clase los niños van a explorar con manipulativos, música y arte en diferentes centros de aprendizaje. Esto le motivara a esforzarse y asimilar los objetivos de la clase. Trabajemos juntos para el éxito de los niños. 

Kindergarten is a wonderful grade, in fact I believe it is the BEST grade!  Learning should be fun and that’s what we have in our room; LOTS OF FUN! 

My goal is to have all my students reading by the time they leave my classroom.  Also, my students are molded to become thinkers and problem solvers in the area of math.  The theme that I function by is: PARENTS + TEACHERS WORKING TOGETHER = A SUCCESSFUL CHILD
