Students in
my computer classes learn how to keyboard, use Microsoft Office programs
(Excel, Word, PowerPoint), how to search for information on the internet
(using Ask.com, a child safe search engine), play educational games, and
use teaching programs such as ClassWorks and Orchard. They also learn
about the parts of a computer and input devices.
We are very
lucky to have our own TV station here at Seguin. The students
run all the equipment and it works just like a regular TV station. We
broadcast the morning announcements each day.

“Come to the edge,” she said.
They said, “We are afraid.”
“Come to the edge,” she said.
They said, “We might fall.”
“Come to the edge,” she demanded.
They came.
She pushed.
They flew.
