Butterfly Release
Kindergarten
students raised butterflies from eggs to adulthood. The
students had the opportunity to observe the life cycle as
they watched
caterpillars spin cocoons and then see the monarch butterflies
emerge. The unit culminated with the release of butterflies in
the school's outdoor habitat.
