- Helen Keller was born in the mid 1800’s.
- She ran a fever of 109. The
fever was so hot
- it burned out her vision
- and her hearing.
- When she grew up at about age 5, she started realizing her disability
and accepting her life.

- Helen wanted to go to a college. She dreamed of
- Radcliffe, a great college
- for high academics. Helen made
it into Radcliffe. A person asked Helen to write segments of her life in
his magazine. All of the people loved Helen’s story so much they asked
- Helen to make a book about her
life.

- Keller were famous
- and millions of copies
- were sold. Books such as My Life
and
- Through My Eyes
- were famous books.
