2	Laura’s Childhood Laura was born into a big family in Pepin, Wisconsin on February 7^th,1876. She had 3 sisters named Mary, Carrie, and Grace.
3	Her life later on She became a young pioneer because family traveled a lot. Laura got married the morning of August 25,1885 at Reverend Brown’s. Her husband was Almanzo Mannie Wilder but she called him Manly. he Smoved to De Smet to teach. She became a teacher at Wilkins Elementary in the year of 1885.
4	Her life in De Smet She had a daughter on December 5,1886. She had a son on August 10,1889 and he died later on that night. Laura became a housewife and started writing stories and poems about her life. She wrote about her life to remember special events she might forget.
5	Her Books Little House In The Big Woods Little House On The Prairie Farmer Boy On The Banks Of Plum Creek By The Shores Of Silver Lake The Long Winter Little Town On The Prairie These Happy Golden Years The First Four Years
6	Almost The End Rose burned the house down while heating up the oven. Laura died three days after her birthday Feb.10,1957. She lived to be ninety years old.
